Notes - Related Units |
A two times zoom designed for exceptional cost performance, compactness,
lightness and speed. The one-touch design allows simultaneous zooming and focusing which can be essential when fast action is required. Because of the constant F5 speed split-image and microprism focusing aids are still very usable. This is the only zoom lens that is recommended in combination with the Olympus 2xA teleconverter, which transforms it into a 200-400mm/F10 super tele zoom lens. |
Portraits. Mountains. Scenery. Sports. Documentary. |
For hand-held photography, a shutter speed of 1/250 sec. or faster is
recommended. Also, to prevent camera shake: When using a tripod, hold the camera steady with both hands and press the shutter release with the ball of finger, not with the cable release. Compatible focusing screens: 1-1~1-4, 1-6, 1-10, 1-13, 1-14. |
