An advanced autofocus 3x zoom lens with 14 elements in 11 groups for extensive coverage from wide-angle to short telephoto subjects.
State-of-the art optical technology provides for aberration correction throughout the operating range and ensures clear, stable images at any focal length between 28 and 85mm.
The built-in close focus mechanism permits autofocusing as close as 0.6m, making this easily portable zoom excellent and highly versatile for use as standard equipment.
Entirely controlled by the OM-707 AF or OM-101 PF body, for exceptional convenience in use as well as beautifully smooth appearance.		 Portraits (individual and group).

Vacations.		 This lens cannot be used on cameras other than the OM-707 or OM-101.
When this lens is attached to the OM-707, the Auto Program Shift function automatically selects the wide angle or tele lens program, according to the focal length.
Programmed aperture selection can be overruled by the OM-101 in combination with Manual Adapter 2 and on the OM-707 by means of Program Shift.
