This adapter is used to mount the OM body on the Olympus fiberscopes for endoscopic photography. The synchronisation connection is made by inserting the connection plug of he Adapter into the Synchro Socket of the OM body. The focusing screen 1-9 is specially designed for endoscopic photography.
Focusing is achieved by the fiberscope; exposure is made automatically by the light supply.
