Body group OM-20 (US: OM-G)
In 1983 the OM-20 (which was named OM-G in the US) was introduced. This model incorporates quite a few improvements compared to the OM-10: a shutter speed ring instead of a removable Manual Adapter, an exchangeable camera grip (Steady Grip 2), a better Mode Selector Lever and Exposure Compensation Dial, slightly larger controls, a new matte area (Lumi Micron) in the focusing screen, a better display (with a Manual Mode Indicator, an Exposure Compensation Indicator and shutter speed number LEDs), a sunken Hot Shoe, Motor Drive capability and a PC flash synchro bus. The OM-20 didn't replace the OM-10: both models were available untill 1987. The OM-20 was available in chrome and in black.
